Equipment on offer

The engines and tools that made up the water pumping station are now available free of charge to anybody with the skill and the tools to remove them from the site. All the equipment is still in place at the pump house as when it was being operated. Equipment essential to the running of the main engines will not be separated from the main engines. Starter engine equipment

  • Main Engine starter motor system
  • Pressurised cylinders (2) swp 300 psi
  • Oil Tanks (lubrication oil) (x2): Size 48” long, 43” high, 30” deep. Each Graded from 15 – 165 gals
  • Water Storage Tanks (engine coolant) (x2)
  • Manual valves (x2)

Main pumps (1 & 2)

Speed Reducer Unit - David Brown & Sons. Pumping Machine No. 94800 Order 250750, Size 22#, BVH, 240 HP, Set 1, Speed 500 – 448.98 Pump. Manufacturer GWYNNES Pumps Ltd, Lincoln Installed about 1948. Pressure Gauge (on Pump Speed Reducer) Manufacturer Tomey Makers Birmingham, Gauge range 0-30. Outlet pipes (1 & 2) also available.
